This is only the basics of what happened last week in Anderson County real estate.
Least Expensive Home Reported Sold
The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 1895 SF 2 bedroom 1 bath house on 1.74 acres in Belton.
It sold for $50,000 CASH after being on the market for 53 days. Originally hit the market at $99,900.
Located in the 29627 Zip Code and the Cedar Grove Elementary, Palmetto Middle, Palmetto High school district per MLS listing.
Brick on crawl space construction. Over 30 years old but no exact age in either the listing or the county tax records.
Composition shingle roof. Public water and septic tank. Heat pump. Large screened front porch, Rear deck, in ground pool and concrete patio.
This is a foreclosure so impossible to say if the pool is usable. The home will need work as the sold price indicates.
Inside there are carpet, ceramic tile and laminate floors. Multiple fireplaces and cathedral ceilings. Kitchen with breakfast area, office/study, formal dining room.
There appears to have been a carport at one time but it has been enclosed into a workshop area. Sadly, the doorway is too narrow to drive a car or lawnmower through.
Not a bad price considering the size of the home and lot. But it will need work and it is currently a 2 bedroom home.
Most Expensive Home Reported Sold
The most expensive home reported sold this week was a 3853 SF 5 bedroom 4.5 bath house on 1.12 acres in Williamston.
It sold for $384,500 CASH after being on the market for 51 days. Originally hit the market at $399,900.
Located in the 29697 Zip Code and the Spearman Elementary, Wren Middle, Wren High school district per MLS listing.
Brick, stone and concrete block exterior with a slab foundation. 2 car attached garage plus a 2 car detached garage with a 220 SF loft for storage. Covered front entry porch and nice patio in the fenced back yard.
Architectural shingle roof. Public water and septic tank. Natural gas heat and central AC.
Bonus room, office/study, workshop, media room, laundry room. Carpet, ceramic tile and hardwood flooring. Some 9 foot ceilings.
Main level master suite has walk in closet, dressing room, glass walk in shower, jetted tub and double sinks. The master suite also has a sitting room overlooking the private backyard.
Dining room with coffered ceiling, wainscotting and oversized entrance. Great room, keeping room with stacked stone fireplace.
Kitchen has center island with sink, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, double wall ovens, gas cooktop, built in desk.
Sold Deal of the Week in Anderson County
The best deal in my opinion of the sold listings this week was a 1550 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath house on 0.34 acres in the city limits of Anderson.

Located in the 29621 Zip Code and the Concord Elementary, McCants Middle, TL Hanna High school district per MLS listing.
Brick ranch built on crawlspace. Over 30 years old but looks well maintained and updated. 2 car attached garage. Architectural shingle roof. Fenced back yard with large mature shade trees. New windows.
Inside are refinished hardwoods, fresh paint, new carpet, new dishwasher, updated bathrooms, new custom mantle and recessed lighting in the den.
Good price for a home in move in condition of this size in a desirable location.
