Least Expensive Home Reported Sold
The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 950 SF 1 bedroom 1 bath house on 0.34 acres in Anderson.
It sold for $8000 CASH after being on the market for 27 days. Originally hit the market at $8000.
Located in the 29624 Zip Code and the Varennes Elementary, Robert Anderson Middle, Westside High school district per MLS listing.
Over 50 years old and shows it’s age in every possible way. Needs work as the sold price reflects. Also located in an area that many buyers will not like.
A perfect example of what a $8000 house is truly like…
Remember that just because a property is cheap does NOT mean it is a good deal.
Most Expensive Home Reported Sold
The most expensive home reported sold this week was a 4020 SF 6 bedroom 5 bath house on 1 acre in Pendleton.
It sold for $465,000 after being on the market for 585 days if we combine both of the consecutive listings with the same agent/company. Originally hit the market at $507,312.
Located in the 29670 Zip Code and the Mt Lebanon Elementary, Riverside Middle, Pendleton High school district per MLS listing.
Brand new 2 story home with brick, cement plank and stone exterior. The listing says it has a partially finished walkout basement and a 3 car attached garage.
Architectural shingle roof. Heat pump. Public water and septic tank. Carpet, ceramic tile and hardwood flooring.
Owner’s suite is upstairs but there is a guest room downstairs. Kitchen has breakfast area, granite counter tops, tile backsplash and Energy Star appliances. Formal living room, formal dining room, loft, laundry room, media room and a rec room.
Sounds like a nice home but it would have sold faster IF at some point more pictures were added to the MLS during the 585 days on the market.
Sold Deal of the Week in Anderson County
The best deal in my opinion of the sold listings this week was a 3626 SF 3 bedroom 3 bath house on 0.64 acres in the city limits of Anderson.

Incredible curb appeal with mature lush landscaping and in an established neighborhood.
Over 50 years old but appears well maintained and has new architectural shingle roof and water heater plus updated baths.
Gas pack heat and central cooling. 2 car attached carport plus a detached storage building. Large raised brick patio that would great for entertaining or relaxing.
