There were 28 homes in Anderson, 2 in Fair Play, 1 in Honea Path, 1 in Iva, 4 in Pendleton, 1 in Piedmont, 3 in Townville and 1 in Williamston reported sold this past week.

 

1 condo, 6 mobile homes and 34 single family homes were reported sold this past week in Anderson County.

 

The average price of the homes reported sold this week was $200,309.

 

The median price of the homes reported sold this week was $155,500.

 

The average days on market of the homes reported sold this past week was 77 days.

Least Expensive Home Reported Sold

 

The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 1650 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath house on 0.1 acres in the city limits of Anderson.

 

It sold for $17,000 CASH after being on the market for 231 days. Originally hit the market at $39,900.

 

Located in the 29624 Zip Code and the Concord Elementary, McCants Middle, TL Hanna High school district per MLS listing.

 

Investment property being sold because it is too far from the seller’s other properties. Limited details and no interior pictures. Rented for $550.

 

Electric heat and no AC. Public water and sewer.

 

Located in an area that many renters and buyers will not find attractive.Probably best suited for an experienced local investor that understands the headaches that come with rentals such as this.

 

Sold for $8000 less than the seller paid about 18 months ago. The fact that it took 231 days to sell and the seller took a loss should tell you something…

Most Expensive Home Reported Sold

 

The most expensive home reported sold this week was a 3426 +/- SF 4 bedroom 3.5 bath house on 0.77 acres in Anderson.

 

It sold for $685,000 after being on the market for 344 days. Originally hit the market at $739,900.

 

Located in the 29626 Zip Code and the McLees Elementary, Southwood Middle, Westside High school district per MLS listing.

Wood exterior on crawl space. Built in 1988 per county tax records. Attached 3 car garage. Architectural shinlge roof. Heat pump. Public water and septic tank.

 

Carpet, ceramic tile and hardwood flooring. Formal dining room with chandelier and gorgeous moldings. Den, laundry room, office/study, workshop and exercise room.

 

Great room with stunning lake views has gas log fireplace and built in bookcases.

 

Kitchen was renovated in 2008 and has granite countertops, island with curved bar, stainless steel appliances, Wolf propane gas cooktop, SubZero wise refrigerator.

 

Master suite has double vanity, jetted tub, steam shower, bidet and 2 walk in cedar closets.

 

 

Sold Deal of the Week in Anderson County

 

The best deal in my opinion of the sold listings this week was a 1528 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath house on 2.12 acres in Anderson.

 

It sold for $80,000 after being on the market for 85 days. Originally hit the market at $118,000.

 

Located in the 29626 Zip Code and the McLees Elementary, Robert Anderson Middle, Westside High school district per MLS listing.

 

Brick on crawl space construction. 1 car attached carport. Architectural shingle roof. Brand new heat pump to be installed at closing. Public water and septic tank.

 

Over 50 years old but recent updated/upgrades include roof, electrical, plumbing, windows, ceramic tile, ducting.

 

Still needs some cosmetic work but the expensive hard work has been done. Great price considering the size and updates/upgrades.
