Least Expensive Home Reported Sold
The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 1100 SF 2 bedroom 1 bath house on 1.7 acres in Anderson.
It sold for $12,000 CASH after being on the market for 127 days. Originally hit the market at $29,900. This home was sold via an auction.
Located close to Broadway Lake in the 29621 Zip Code. Nevitt Forest Elementary, Glenview Middle, TL Hanna High school district per MLS listing.
Foreclosure. Only 1 picture and limited details in the MLS. It looks rough and the only pictures shows a pile of trash bags in front of the house.
It could be that the home was filled with trash when it was vacated by the previous occupant, Combine that with the lack of pictures and I would not be surprised if this home is a serious mess inside.
But that is to be expected from a home on 1.7 acres that sold for only $12,000. Remember that just because a home is cheap, does NOT mean it is a good deal.
That being said, if you were looking for a lot over an acre close to Broadway Lake, $12,000 is not a bad price.
