The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 1580 SF 4 bedroom 2 bath house on 0.13 acres in the city limits of Anderson.
It sold for $30,600 CASH after being on the market for 16 days. Originally hit the market at $23,000 so it appears there were multiple offers.
Located in the 29625 Zip Code and the Whitehall Elementary, Lakeside Middle, Westside High school district per MLS listing.
Foreclosure. Located in an area that many buyers or renters will not find attractive.
Needs lots of work including roof and probably the entire interior. Really really nasty looking.
Brick on crawl space. Composition shingle roof. No heat or air. Public sewer and water.
The location and condition make me think this is a run away home. In other words, I suggest you not buy this home and run away from it.

Close to shopping and I-85. It is in an area that could see very shallow water during a drought.
Sold Deal of the Week in Anderson County
The best deal in my opinion of the sold listings this week was a 1379 SF 3 bedroom 1 bath house on 0.32 acres in the city limits of Anderson.
It sold for $89,900 after being on the market for 99 days. Originally hit the market at $99,900.
Located in the 29621 Zip Code and the Concord Elementary, McCants Middle, Hanna High school district per MLS listing.
Home is over 50 years old but no exact age in MLS listing or online tax records. Brick ranch with unfinished walk out basement. Composition shingle roof. Natural gas heat and central forced AC. Public water and sewer.
Beautiful shiny hardwood flooring. Formal dining room, laundry room. Appears to be well maintained and move in ready.
The only drawbacks I see is there is no garage or carport and the windows and wood. But the price is great considering the size/condition/location.
