The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 1069 SF 2 bedroom 1 bath house on 0.31 acres in the city limits of Belton.
It sold for $42,825 CASH after being on the market for 108 days. Originally hit the market at $52,000.
Located in the 29627 Zip Code and the Marshall Primary, Be;ton Middle, Belton-Honea Path High school district per MLS listing.
Foreclosure but NOT designated as one in the MLS. Some banks/lenders do not want their foreclosed properties advertised as a foreclosure. However, these same banks lenders require verbiage in the listing description that makes it obvious it is a foreclosure.
Asbestos shingle exterior on crawl space. Composition shingle roof. Gas pack/forced air heat and central forced AC. Public sewer and water. The listing says the home was built in 1955.
No garage or carport but the listing says it has outbuildings. Sadly, there are no pictures of the outbuildings.
Carpet, vinyl and some hardwood or pine flooring. All the flooring looks rough and will need replacing or refinishing.
Living room with a fireplace. Bonus room that could be a 3rd bedroom.
Needs work and I am not impressed…
Most Expensive Home Reported Sold
The most expensive home reported sold this week was a 3575 SF 4 bedroom 3.5 bath house on 0.72 acres in Easley ( Powdersville area ).
It sold for $350,000 CASH after being on the market for 69 days. Originally hit the market at $361,666.
Located in the 29642 Zip Code and the Powdersville Elementary, Powdersville Middle, Powdersville High school district per MLS listing.
Brand new home under construction when entered into the MLS. Brick and cement plank exterior on slab construction. 3 car attached garage. Covered front porch and rear patio.
Architectural shingle roof. Public water and septic tank. Underground irrigation system. Multizoned HVAC with natural gas central heat and central electric cooling.
Carpet, ceramic tile, hardwood and vinyl flooring. Granite counter tops. Formal living room, laundry room, loft. Fireplace with gas logs.
Main level owner’s suite has a walk in closet, double sinks, garden tub and separate shower.
Sounds like a nice home BUT it was under construction when listed. There are no pictures of the actual home. There is a copy of the floor plan and an artist’s rendering of the front of the home.
Sold Deal of the Week in Anderson County
The best deal in my opinion of the sold listings this week was a 3116 SF 4 bedroom 3 bath house on 3.94 acres in Anderson.
It sold for $258,000 CASH after being on the market for 66 days. Originally hit the market at $264,900.
Located in the 29625 Zip Code and the Lafrance Elementary, Riverside Middle, Pendleton High school district per MLS listing. Only 0.2 miles from community dock and courtesy dock!
Vinyl siding with partially finished basement. 2 car attached garage, 2 car detached garage plus a large carport for storing a boat or RV.
Propane forced air heat and central electric cooling. Architectural shingle roof. Public water and septic tank.
Eat in kitchen with lots of cabinets. Living room with floor to ceiling brick fireplace. Den with another fireplace. Sunroom.
Main level owner’s suite has walk in closet, separate shower and tub.
Large home on very large lot very close to the lake. Does need some cosmetic updating but appears well maintained and certainly worth the price.
