1 condo, 1 mobile home, 1 town house, 1 other and 49 single family homes were reported sold this past week in Anderson County.
The other is actually 1/4 ownership in a home on Hartwell Lake. This could be a disaster and I would strongly advise against it.
The average price of the homes reported sold this week was $188,546.
The median price of the homes reported sold this week was $158,225.
The average days on market of the homes reported sold this past week was 149 days.

Least Expensive Home Reported Sold
The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 1000 SF 2 bedroom 1 bath house on 0.32 acres in the city limits of Anderson.
It sold for $10,500 CASH after being on the market for 428 days. Originally hit the market at $14,900.
Located in the 29624 Zip Code and the New Prospect Elementary, Lakeside Middle, Westside High school district per MLS listing.
Foreclosure. Over 50 years old. Wood exterior on crawl space. No heat or AC. Composition shingle roof. Public sewer and water.
There are no pictures of the interior and the only details are that there are hardwood and vinyl floors. The exterior looks rough so I imagine the interior is about the same.
Located in an area that many buyers will not find attractive.
While it sold cheaply, I must once again warn you that just because a home is cheap does not mean it is a good deal.

Sold Deal of the Week in Anderson County
The best deal in my opinion of the sold listings this week was a 1750 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath house on 0.43 acres in the city limits of Anderson.
It sold for $137,900 after being on the market for 71 days. Originally hit the market at $142,900.
Located in the 29621 Zip Code and the Concord Elementary, McCants Middle, TL Hanna High school district per MLS listing.
Fantastic location and lots of space for the money. Brick exterior with basement. 2 car attached carport. Heat pump. Architectural shingle roof.
The roof is 6 years old and HVAC is 4 years old. However, the interior will need cosmetic updating. It is livable and appears move in ready but looks dated.
If the interior was update this home would have sold faster and for a much higher price. I know some buyers were turned off by the pictures of the interior.
But the location is fantastic and the price is hard to beat.
