Least Expensive Home Reported Sold
The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 1352 SF 2 bedroom 1 bath house on roughly 0.2 acres in the city limits of Anderson.
It sold for $10,250 CASH after being on the market for 164 days. Originally hit the market at $15,000.

Wood exterior on crawl space. Over50 years old but exact age unknown. No AC and the listing does not say how or if it is heated. Composition shingle roof. Public water and sewer.
Gross and needs work yet somehow the listing agent says you could move in today. Located in an area that some buyers will not find attractive.
It took 164 days to sell and sold for less than most new cars. Remember, just because a home is cheap does not mean it is a good deal.

Sold Deal of the Week in Anderson County
The best deal in my opinion of the sold listings this week was a 2000 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath house on 3 acres in Pendleton.
It sold for $159,900 after being on the market for 107 days. Originally hit the market at $209,900.
Located in the 29670 Zip Code in the Five Forks area. Close to I-85 and convenient to Anderson, Clemson or Pendleton.
Foreclosure. Vinyl siding on crawl space. Built in 2000. 2 car attached garage. Nice looking yard barn. Composition shingle roof. Public water and septic tank.
No heat or air but the home sold via FHA financing so either the buyer used a 203K loan or they had the money to replace the HVAC escrowed.
Appears move in ready other than the missing HVAC. Amazing how heat pumps grow legs after a foreclosure…
I think this home was overpriced when it first hit the market. Despite the Five Forks area being extremely nice, it does not mean you can overprice a home.

Vinyl siding on crawl space construction. Home built in 1979 per MLS listing. 2 car attached garage. Heat pump. Composition shingle roof. Public water and sewer.
New flooring throughout and new kitchen. It appears the seller has done lots of work recently…
This is a flip and looks really good but you should never let appearances fool you. Always get a professional home inspection.
Master suite has walk in closet and tub/shower combination. Rock fireplace in living room. There is a large den that looks like it used to have a wood burning stove.
Good location and great price considering the size and recent updates/repairs/rehab.
