Least Expensive Home Reported Sold
The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 1146 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath single wide on 0.45 acres in Anderson.
It sold for $21,500 CASH after being on the market for 53 days. Originally hit the market at $29,900.
Located in the 29626 Zip Code and the schools listed int he MLS are obviously wrong. Which gives me a great opportunity to say you must confirm the schools and anything else!
This is a foreclosure and the listing says cash offers only. This is probably due to the condition of the home.
The home is only a 2012 but it needs lots of work. And that is putting it mildly…
You can see daylight through one of the exterior walls as the only thing left is the exterior vinyl siding!
The listing description even warns you about holes in the floors! The HVAC, hot water heater, tub in the master bath and sink in the 2nd bath are missing.
Because of the amount of work needed before the home would be livable and the location, I would say the buyer overpaid.
You can see the homes for sale under $35,000 in Anderson County SC

Detached 2 car garage. Composition shingle roof. Gas pack heat and central electric cooling. Public water and sewer. Screened porch overlooking the flagstone patio with a fire pit.
