This is only the basics of what happened last week in Anderson County real estate.
Least Expensive Home Reported Sold
The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 1225 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath house on 0.77 acres in Anderson.
It sold for $60,002 CASH after being on the market for 94 days if we combine both of the consecutive listings with the same agent/company. Originally hit the market at $84,320.
Located in the 29625 Zip Code and the LaFrance Elementary, Riverside Middle, Pendleton High school district per MLS listing.
Foreclosure. Built in 1990 according to county tax records but it looks like it has had a very hard life.
Wood exterior on crawl space construction. Septic tank but the listing does not say how it gets water.
The listing also uses the common method of describing the heat/AC as “Other – See Remarks” and then does not mention the HVAC in the remarks. There is a picture of a heat pump but whether or not it works or has been stripped is unknown.
IF repaired and updated, this home could sell for roughly twice what the buyer paid. The key thing is how much work the home actually needs and how much it will cost.
Probably best suited for an experienced investor with the cold hard cash to rehab this home.
