Located in the 29624 Zip Code and the Calhoun Elementary, McCants Middle, TL Hanna High school district per MLS listing.
Older home in need of repair but the listing says “most of the finishing are in the home and will remain”. Maybe they mean that most of materials needed to make the home livable will be included with the sale but this must be cleared up AND probably should be addressed by a bill of sale.
Vinyl siding on crawl space construction. Composition shingle roof looks newer and in good shape.Small front and rear covered porches. Central gas heat and central electric cooling. Public sewer and water.
Hardwood flooring but it looks like it needs refinishing. New counter tops. Refrigerator, range, washer and dryer included with the sale.
The drywall is completely torn out around the tub in the picture of the bathroom.
Located in an area that many buyers will not find attractive.
Only 1 bedroom, small, needs repairs and the location is not attractive to many buyers. I would say this home sold for well above what I would suggest paying.
Most Expensive Home Reported Sold
The most expensive home reported sold this week was a 3171 SF 4 bedroom 3.5 bath house on 0.91 acres in Belton.
It sold for $379,000 after being on the market for 93 days. Originally hit the market at $429,900.
Located in the 29627 Zip Code and despite the Belton address it is in Midway Elementary, Glenview Middle, TL Hanna High school district per MLS listing. On a cul de sac for less traffic but not too far from I-85 and shopping.
Home built in 2007 per county records. Brick and stone exterior on crawl space construction. 3 car attached garage. New HVAC system. Nice covered entry porch and large covered rear patio. Architectural shingle roof.
Huge bonus room with large closet for storage. Formal dining room with columns. Office with built in cabinetry. Den with fireplace. Laundry room with sink has plenty of light from the window. Kitchen with breakfast room and granite counter tops.
Owner’s suite has tray ceiling, jetted tub, large walk in shower, private water closet, double vanity countertop plus a dressing room with custom cabinetry.
Community pool and clubhouse. Irrigation system, Gutter Guards, security system.
Sold Deal of the Week in Anderson County
The best deal in my opinion of the sold listings this week was a 2351 SF 4 bedroom 2.5 bath house on 0.57 acres in the city limits of Anderson.
It sold for $168,000 after being on the market for 163 days. Originally hit the market at 184,900. The seller paid $4500 of the buyer’s closing costs.
Located in the 29621 Zip Code and the Calhoun Elementary, McCants Middle, TL Hanna High school district per MLS listing.
Older brick ranch needing a few updates. 2 car attached carport. Composition shingle roof. Heating and cooling is handled by a combination of baseboard, gas pack, central cooling and window units.Public sewer and water.
Den with fireplace and built in bookcases. Formal living room. Kitchen has breakfast area and plenty of cabinets. Large laundry room. Carpet, hardwood and vinyl flooring.
Despite needing some updates, a good price for a home of this size/age in a great location.
