Least Expensive Home Reported Sold
The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 1097 SF 2 bedroom 1 bath house on 0.37 acres in Anderson.
It sold for $33,000 CASH after being on the market for 61 days. Originally hit the market at $37,000.
Located in the 29626 Zip Code and the McLees Elementary, Robert Anderson Middle, Westside High school district per MLS listing.
Home is over 50 years old with wood exterior on crawl space construction. Metal roof. Heat pump. Public water and septic tank. Storage building but no garage or carport. Covered front porch.
Hardwood and vinyl flooring. Interior needs some updating. Listing remarks say it could be a 3 bedroom but I would take that with a grain of salt since they could be.
Located on a busy road in an area that some buyers will not find attractive.
Most Expensive Home Reported Sold
The most expensive home reported sold this week was a 2650 SF 4 bedroom 2.5 bath house on 11.99 acres in Anderson.
It sold for $575,000 after being on the market for 167 days. Originally hit the market at $600,000.
Waterfront Hartwell located in the 29625 Zip Code. Path to the dock that has a footbridge that crosses over stream on your way to the covered slip dock.
Home built in 1997 per county tax records. Wood exterior with finished walkout basement. 2 car attached garage plus a 4 car garage/shop with large unfinished space above.
Composition shingle roof. Heat pump. Public water and septic tank. Large rear deck to enjoy the wooded private 11 plus acres.
Great room with vaulted ceiling, stone fireplace and wall of windows overlooking the lake. Kitchen has granite counter tops and modern look.
Owner’s suite on main level has walk in closet, double sinks, separate shower and tub.
Downstairs is a rec room, 2 bedrooms and a full bath.
Incredible deal for the price considering the acreage, size/quality/features of the home and the fact that it has a covered slip dock on Hartwell.
But think about the fact that despite this being a great home that hit the market at a reasonable price, it still took 167 days to sell. This helps you to understand the realities of the market in our area today.
Still this is a great price so I would call this the best deal of the week.
