The most expensive home reported sold this week was a 3668 SF 4 bedroom 3.5 bath house on 0.65 acres in Anderson. It sold for $595,000 after being on the market for 138 days. Originally hit the market at $672,500.

Sold Deal of the Week in Anderson County
The best deal in my opinion of the sold listings this week was a brick 2000 +/- SF 3 bedroom 2 bath house on 0.6 acres in the city limits of Anderson. It sold for $85,000 after being on the market for 91 days. Originally hit the market at $92,500.
Being sold AS-IS and quite possible it was being sold to settle an estate. The listing description says it appraised for $130,000 in August 2015. Recent upgrades include thermal windows, new roof and gutters, new HVAC system and new hot water heater.
Does need cosmetic updating but the price is right. And it is in a great location close to everything but tucked away on a quiet side street.
