Foreclosure. Limited details and the description does not tell you much. The pictures are so small it is hard to tell what the home is really like.
But as you see, it went under contract in 5 days and appears there were multiple bidders.
Will a super low price always overcome marketing of this caliber?
Maybe. It depends if the home is underpriced compared to it’s true market value or has a realistic low price. There is a difference…
Most Expensive Home Reported Sold
The most expensive home reported sold this week was a 6000 SF 6 bedroom 4.5 bath house on 0.87 acres in Anderson. It sold for $585,000 CASH after being on the market for 57 days. Originally hit the market at $649,900.

Waterfront Hartwell Lake home. Foreclosure. MLS listing says it is Green Zone with a dock in place yet there are NO pictures of the dock. There are pictures of the house and it is VERY nice.
Great location close to I-85 and shopping. 3 car garage. Infinity pool with spill over spa. Hardwood, marble, carpet and ceramic tile floors. Master suite on the main level with walk in closet, double sink, separate shower. Granite countertops. Fireplace. Bonus room, exercise room, office/study, rec room, workshop, media room, in law suite, formal dining room, formal living room.
Pretty much all the bells and whistles in a big house. Well worth the price even if I am not sure about the dock situation or how deep the water is in this location.
Sold Deal of the Week in Anderson County
The best deal in my opinion of the sold listings this week was a brick 2000 SF 2 bedroom 2 bath house on 1.25+/- acres in Anderson. It sold for $127,000 after being on the market for 15 days. Originally hit the market at $139,900 ( for this listing).
Located in the 29625 Zip Code and the Centerville Elementary, Lakeside Middle, Westside High school district per MLS listing.
Foreclosure. Waterfront Hartwell Lake home. This property is Green Zone but has a road running between the house and the lake. I did not select it as the deal of the week solely because of the lake frontage.
It is the size and price more than the lake frontage. A previous listing for this home did say it was approved for a dock in the past. No guarantees this is still true but nice to know. It is up in a cove and you may not be able to get a dock permit.
Something else to consider is there is no heat or air and the roof looks iffy.

Foreclosure and needs some work. The first thing to look at is the roof as it looks iffy. Then there is NO mention of how it is heated or cooled.
The listing says it is built on crawl space but the pictures show windows for a lower level. Sad how some of these online auction companies don’t really know what they are selling…
It is the location, size and price that moved this home to the top of the list for me. County records have it as being over 2600 SF.
