Foreclosure. Needed work and not in an area that many buyers would say is desirable. The roof looked iffy. Also needed updating as well as rehabbing. Which helps to explain the price doesn’t it?
Most Expensive Home Reported Sold
The most expensive home reported sold this week in Anderson County was a 2400 SF 4 bedroom 3.5 bath home on less than 0.99 acres in Anderson. It sold for $325,000 after being on the market for 258 days if you count both of the concurrent listings with the same agent/company. Originally listed at $350,000.
Waterfront Lake Hartwell home. Green zone but too crowded to get a dock per the MLS. The pictures of the lake make it appear that the lack of a dock is not that big a deal. But in one of the pictures of the interior of the home, you can see the lake through the window. And you can see the home is up in a cove and the water is very shallow.
Deal of the Week
In my opinion, the best deal of the homes sold this week in Anderson County was a brick 1545 SF 3 bedroom 1.5 bath home on less than 0.99 acres in the city limits of Anderson. It sold for $65,000 CASH after being on the market for 24 days. Originally listed for $67,3220.
Foreclosure located in the Hanna McCants Concord school district. Did not appear too bad. Really good location.
