The least expensive home reported sold this week in Anderson County was 1000 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath mobile home on 2.1 acres in Belton. It sold for $8,900 CASH after being on the market for 37 days. Foreclosure and if there was ever an example of getting what you pay for, it is this home. The listing states the home is NOT habitable and even goes so far as including an estimate of $3000 for the demolition and removal of the home. However, 2.1 acres with a septic tank and public water is a pretty good price.
The most expensive home reported sold this week in Anderson County was a 2488 SF 4 bedroom 3 bath home on 0.92 acres in Townville. It sold for $296,000 after being on the market for 459 days. Waterfront Hartwell Lake home with covered dock in place.
In my opinion, the best deal of the homes sold this week was a 2800 SF 3 bedroom 2.5 bath Cape Cod on less than an acre in Anderson. It sold for $174,750 after being on the market for 351 days. Hanna schools and sitting on the fairway of a golf course. Sold AS-IS but did not look in bad shape. Maybe it was to settle an estate but as always I would strongly suggest getting an inspection.

The best deal in my opinion of this week’s new listings is a 1700+ SF 4 bedroom 2 bath home on less than 0.49 acres in Anderson that hit the market for $72,900. Foreclosure but looks to be in pretty good shape.
