Foreclosure and located way out in the country. The home looked like it needed some updating but I would say the location played a bigger part in the sold price.
Most Expensive Home Reported Sold
The most expensive home reported sold this week in Anderson County was a 4400 SF 5 bedroom 4 bath home on 0.58 acres in Anderson. It sold $582,000 CASH after being on the market for 374 days (if you add all of the concurrent listings with the same agent/company). Originally listed at $699,900.
Waterfront Hartwell Lake home with covered dock in place. While the listing states this home has deep water, I must strongly urge you to remember that how you or I define “deep water” and how the seller or listing agent define “deep water” may be very different.
Deal of the Week
In my opinion, the best deal of the homes sold this week in Anderson County was a 2577 SF 4 bedroom 3 bath home on 1 acre in Piedmont. It sold for $130,000 after being on the market for 59 days. Originally listed at $189,900.
Big home for the price and great location convenient to Anderson or Greenville. Powdersville schools. In ground pool also but listing states it needs repairs. Also might need some updating but certainly looks move in ready.
