The least expensive home reported sold this week in Anderson County was a 2240 SF 4 bedroom 2 bath mobile home on 0.89 acres in Williamston. It sold for $37,000 CASH after being on the market for 93 days. Appeared to be in decent shape with heat pump still there but not block underpinned so it was pretty much limited to cash buyers.
The most expensive home reported sold this week in Anderson County was a brick 3404 SF 4 bedroom 4 bath home on 1.6 acres in the Powdersville area. It sold for $335,000 after being on the market for 123 days. Big home in a great area that is convenient to Anderson, Easley or Greenville.
In my opinion, the best deal of the homes sold this week was a 1760 SF 4 bedroom 3.5 bath home on 0.66 acres in Anderson. It sold for $121,000 CASH after being on the market for 197 days. Foreclosure. Crazy price for a Hartwell Lake home with dock in place. Sure it needed work but several years ago you couldn’t buy a dockable lake lot for this price.
3 of the homes reported sold this past week were foreclosures.
None of the homes reported sold were short sales.
Today there are 96 foreclosed homes for sale in Anderson County.
Today there are 1356 homes for sale in Anderson County.

The best deal in my opinion of this week’s new listings in Anderson County is a 1200 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath mobile home on about an acre in Anderson that hit the market at $21,000. No mention of how it is heated/cooled so we can probably assume the HVAC system is gone. But brick underpinned and the interior doesn’t look too bad. Should rent for $5-600 after rehab/repairs.

Currently there are 154 homes in the MLS with an Under Contract (Pending) status.
