In my opinion, the best deal of the homes sold this week in Anderson County was a brick 2306 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath home on 2 acres in Anderson. It sold for $145,000 after being on the market for 64 days. Originally listed at $149,900.
Big house, big lot, great price! Fruit trees and the property is fenced (vinyl). Sunroom, den with fireplace, cedar closets in all bedrooms. Living room, dining room, laundry room with large closet.

As the listing says “some renovations will be needed to restore this home to it’s former glory”. Translated from REALTOR-speak, this means get ready to spend some serious money.
Still a good price IF you are realistic about what you are buying and what it will take to update the home. The listing mentions heat pumps so it is possible some updating has been done. Whether or not it was done correctly is another thing…
