If you are thinking that a $4,000 home is going to be nice or in a desirable location then you need to stop smoking that stuff.

The most expensive home reported sold this week in Anderson County was a 2688 SF 3 bedroom 3.5 bath town house in Anderson. It sold for $400,000 after being on the market for 29 days. Short Sale. Originally listed for $435,900. Waterfront Hartwell Lake unit with a deeded slip.
In my opinion, the best deal of the homes sold this week in Anderson County was a 1850 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath home on 0.39 acres in North Anderson. It sold for $127,300 after being on the market for 162 days. Unfinished basement. Big house for the price, with all the charm that you expect of the homes in North Anderson. Plus this home appears to have been updated/upgraded while still keeping all of those special charms.
