Least Expensive Home Reported Sold
The least expensive home reported sold this week in Anderson County was a 1366 SF 3 bedroom 1 bath home on 0.17 acres in the city limits of Belton. It sold for $4,000 CASH after being on the market for 322 days. Originally listed at $15,000.
It should go without saying that this home needs some work since it sold for only $4000. And since it hit the market at a super low price but it took 322 days to sell, that should also be a clue that this home had some issues that caused buyers to say NO.

Nice home with lots of high end features and fixtures.
Sold Deal of the Week

Foreclosure. Hanna, Concord, McCants schools. Not many pictures and some of the interior pictures are blurry. Yet this obviously did not stop the home from selling.
With this home it was all about the price and the location. It appears there was a bidding war since the home sold for more than the list price.

This Week’s Hot New Listing
The best deal in my opinion of this week’s new listings in Anderson County is a brick 3 bedroom 2 bath home on 3.94 acres in Starr. It hit the market at $96,900.
The listing does not have a specific size for the home but it is in the 2500 to 2750 SF range. Tax records say it has 1386 SF. But it has a basement and I think that is where the listing agent is getting the SF from. If you include the basement, this is a lot of house for the money. Then you add the 3+ acres and you see this is a good price.
Some God awful paint that will need to be changed and most of the pictures are blurry. Den with fireplace. If you are looking for a home with acreage in Starr, I would put this one on your must see list. No mention of how it is heated/cooled so the heat pump may be gone.
34 homes were reported as going Under Contract (Pending) this week.
Currently there are 233 homes in the MLS with an Under Contract (Pending) status.
