If this condo had been on the open market, I feel it would have sold for much more money. But maybe there is a very good reason why the seller opted to price the condo really low. Maybe they wanted a super quick sale? Maybe it was a divorce or to settle an estate.
We will never know but sadly this low sold price will have a negative effect on the comps for this development.
Most Expensive Home Reported Sold
The most expensive home reported sold this week in Anderson County was a 5120 SF 4 bedroom 3 full bath 2 half bath home on over an acre in Piedmont. It sold for $333,250 after being on the market for 166 days. Originally listed at $$369,900.
Wren school district, close to I-85 and USDA eligible. Split floor plan, hardwood floors, walkout finished basement. Deck with hot tub. 3 car garage. Good price based on the location and $/SF.
Sold Deal of the Week
In my opinion, the best deal of the homes sold this week in Anderson County was a 899 SF 2 bedroom 1 bath home on less than 0.25 acres in Fair Play. It sold for $102,500 after being on the market for 58 days. Originally listed at $195,000.
Waterfront Hartwell Lake home with dock in place. Up in a cove so when the lake goes down again you will probably be left high and dry. Still this is a great price for a home on Hartwell with a dock.
