Because these statistics are for only one week and all of Anderson County, it may not tell you what is possible for a specific home. As always there may have been more closings but the agent has not turned in the closing sheet to the WUAR MLS yet.
This is only the basics of what happened last week in Anderson County real estate.
Least Expensive Home Reported Sold
The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 1400 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath mobile home on 0.59 acres in Liberty.
It sold for $2100 CASH after being on the market for 10 days. Originally hit the market at $24,900.
I think the sold amount is wrong and should be $21,000. Which means both the average and median price above are wrong.
I hear agents cry all the time about how inaccurate Zillow is but how many mistakes are there in the MLS?
A 0.59 acre lot in this area with a septic tank and water tap will cost more than $2100. Some people will believe what they WANT to believe…
Located in the 29657 Zip Code and the Pendleton Elementary, Riverside Middle, Pendleton High school district per MLS listing.
Foreclosure. No mention of how it is heated or cooled which can mean the heat pump is either gone or the copper has been stolen.
The listing mentions a sun room but there are not any pictures of it. The house does need work but it is hard to say what or how much as there aren’t many pictures and what few there are suck.
Not that the quality of the pictures hurt since the home sold in 10 days…
Most Expensive Home Reported Sold
The most expensive home reported sold this week was a brick 4398 SF 6 bedroom 4.5 bath house on 0.6 acres in Anderson.
It sold for $590,000 CASH after being on the market for 34 days. Originally hit the market at $625,000.

The master suite is upstairs and has double lavatory, tiled shower with seat, jetted tub, dual closets with closet organizers.
The basement level has the 2nd kitchen, 6th bedroom and den and a stone fireplace.
3 HVAC systems, security system, and irrigation system.
Sold Deal of the Week in Anderson County
The best deal in my opinion of the sold listings this week was a 1587 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath house on roughly 0.37 acres in the city limits of Anderson.
It sold for $90,000 after being on the market for 123 days. Originally hit the market at $105,000.
Located in the 29621 Zip Code and the Concord Elementary, McCants Middle, TL Hanna High school district per MLS listing.
Old North Anderson location close to Linley Park. Over 50 years old but some remodeling already done.
Large 2 car detached carport. Screened porch. HVAC 4 years old. Upstairs partially finished and could be used for a variety of purposes.
Carpet, ceramic tile and shiny hardwood floors. Formal living, formal dining. Fireplace and built in bookcase.
I am amazed it took 123 days to go under contract. It went under contract 18 days after dropping the price to $98,500.
I think this home would have sold faster if it had hit the market at $99,900.
