Least Expensive Home Reported Sold
The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 1191 SF 2 bedroom 1 bath home on less than 0.25 acres in Anderson. It sold for $2,600 CASH after being on the market for 51 days. Originally hit the market at $6,000.
Located in the 29624 Zip Code and the Westside High, Lakeside Middle and Homeland Park Elementary school district per MLS info.
Not a foreclosure. Being sold via a Quit Claim deed. Located in an area that many buyers would not be interested in. Also some serious condition issues.
Just because a home is cheap does NOT mean it is a good deal. Combine the Quite Claim deed, the location and the condition and I would say this home is NOT a good deal.
Most Expensive Home Reported Sold
The most expensive home reported sold this week was a 3900 SF 5 bedroom 4 bath home on less than 0.99 acres in Williamston. It sold for $353,303 and appears to have been under contract when entered into the MLS.
Located in the 29697 Zip Code and the Wren High, Wren Middle and Spearman Elementary school district per MLS info.
This is a brand new never lived in home and often home builders will not enter all of their homes into the MLS. Which can make getting an accurate Days on Market pretty much impossible for new homes. Sometimes the homes may have been for sale for several years but because they are entered into the MLS AFTER they have gone under contract, it distorts the statistics.
Which could make some people think that homes are selling faster than they actually are.
Sold Deal of the Week
In my opinion, the best deal of the homes sold this week was a brick 2327 SF 4 bedroom 3 bath home on 4.62 acres in Piedmont. It sold for $165,500 after being on the market for 23 days. Originally hit the market at $165,500.
Located in the 29673 Zip Code and the Wren High, Wren Middle and Spearman Elementary school district per MLS info.

If homes in Anderson County continue to sell at the same pace and no more homes hit the market, it will take 556 days to sell all the available homes. This statistic is for all homes in Anderson County and based only on this week’s activity.
Depending on the home/location/price range, this may not tell you what is possible or realistic for a specific home! It could be better or worse!
