Foreclosure. While it needed work, not a bad price. Still you have to remember that there is a reason why this home was so cheap. You might be able to rehab the home but the location would still be the same…
Most Expensive Home Reported Sold
The most expensive home reported sold this week in Anderson County was a 4989 SF 5 bedroom 4 bath home on less than 0.49 acres in Townville. It sold for $470,000 after being on the market for 2 days. Originally listed at $$499,900.
That days on market is somewhat deceptive since it was previously listed for 147 days with the same company. It was withdrawn from the MLS and re-entered on the same day. Same company but different agent. I wouldn’t say this home truly sold in 2 days. Would you?
Anyway, this is a waterfront Hartwell Lake home with 2 slip covered dock in place. The description says the home has 6 bedrooms but the number of bedrooms field says 4. So which is it?
Deal of the Week
In my opinion, the best deal of the homes sold this week in Anderson County was a 2233 SF 4 bedroom 2 bath home on 3 acres in Powdersville (Easley address). It sold for $159,500 after being on the market for 12 days. Originally listed at $164,900.
Powdersville schools. Close to I-85 so this home is convenient to Anderson, Greenville or Easley. Plus there is an in ground pool! The only downside I see is the 1 car garage.
